God Commands us to seek Him with all our heart (Jer. 29:13). He commands us to meditate on His Word day and night. Paul told Timothy to give himself totally to the Scriptures. The Word of God is our bread of life, and if we really believe the Scriptures are the Word of God, then the smallest details matter and should be of intense interest.

All believers are accountable before God to "examine the Scriptures daily to see whether those things were so" (e.g., Acts 17:11). God warns us about having our facts straight (James 3:1).
